Charlotte Mecklenburg police need your help finding a woman wanted for questioning in a 2017 homicide. Police want to find 32-year-old Josephine Gray to question about the death of 40 -year- old husband Trenton Meadows.
Meadows had allegedly confronted Gray about possibly poisoning his medicine she had been giving him. He then left the home in a rage.
At the time of his disappearance, he was driving a 2015 Buick Verano with Maryland registration 6BW0367. The Buick was later recovered in the 2400 block of Anomalous Avenue off of Beatties Ford on August 10, 2017.
Meadows' Family had reported slight concerns they had about Gray. "She seemed really off," Trenton Meadows' sister, Ashley stated. "She always had this very eerie smile. Not to mention she was very adamant about us eating her food. My brother began acting very differently around us. It was like he was getting sicker by the day. " Josephine Gray has since been missing. She has no immediate family to contact and no last known whereabouts.
"Meadows' family members hope that someone will divulge information that will help move this case forward," Mecklenburg County Police said.
Police say Gray had pawned a piece of jewelry that belonged to Meadows. The jewelry was pawned the day after the murder.
